    Hop N Hog is hailed to be the best smokehouse in Canada - and I can only agree. The 14h smoked brisket is a dream: falling apart with a touch of your fork! Their selection of craft beers matches their imaginative menu.

    The food was amazing. Perfectly dried and smoked without being too "dry". Was still tender and smokey. The smokey flavour was delicious! The smokey BBQ sauce was also really good. Wasn't a fan of the sweet sauce, it tasted like Bbq with ketchup. We had the brisket and ribs and pulled pork. All I can say is... YUM! The Mac and cheese was mushy and overcooked, but besides that everything was tasty. Coleslaw was standard, the potato salad was good too. I highly recommend checking this place out if you're making a trip down highway 5.

    We ordered apps and entrees at 6pm. We finished our app by 6:20ish and were excited about our entrees. After seeing 3 tables that were seated after us get their food, I decided to inquire where ours was. It was 7pm by this time. I was told the entrees were ready, but they were waiting for us to finish our app. We ended up leaving. I wish I could review the food, but it never arrived. However, the food on the other tables did look delicious.

    Delicious. Best food we had during our trip in West Canada. And the beers are a great mtch to the menu.
